Abstract

This article aims to examine the concept and implementation of curriculum management that combines knowledge of the world and the afterlife in Islamic education, as well as the challenges faced in this integration process. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach by analyzing various literature related to curriculum management in Islamic educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools, madrasas and Islamic-based schools. The research results show that integration between worldly knowledge and the afterlife can be achieved by designing a curriculum that not only teaches general knowledge, but also provides space for the holistic development of character, morals and Islamic values. On the other hand, the main challenge in managing the Islamic education curriculum is how to balance the demands of the national curriculum with the principles of Islamic education, as well as how to deal with social dynamics and globalization that influence the implementation of education. The conclusion of this research is that effective curriculum management in Islamic education requires close collaboration between stakeholders, namely the government, educational institutions, teachers, and society, to create education that is balanced between worldly knowledge and the hereafter.
