Starting from the quality of students, educators, the atmosphere of the school environment to the school administration system. However, the main factor that most influences the dynamics of education in schools is the leader who is responsible for the running of the educational milliu, in this case the school principal. To carry out his duties as a manager in improving teacher professionalism, a school principal must have the ability and understanding of principal management well. Apart from that, teachers are also expected to not only transfer knowledge but be able to provide maximum performance accompanied by high motivation.</em></p> <p><em>This research aims to describe and examine in more depth how the principal's leadership and the principal's management steps improve teacher professionalism. This type of research is in the form of qualitative research with a case study design by taking data sources from school principals and teachers through observation, interviews and documentation data collection techniques. Data were analyzed in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.</em></p> <p><em>The research results show that the principal's management at SMP Lazuardi Haura Bandar Lampung consists of planning, implementing, supervising and organizing. The principal as a manager plays the role of educator, manager, supervisor, motivator and innovator. The management steps taken by the school principal are carrying out supervision, providing rewards, motivating and encouraging continuing education. Supporting factors for school principal management in increasing teacher professionalism can be caused by fulfilling teaching staff, discipline, motivation and a conducive environment. The inhibiting factors are the small number of certified honorary teachers, time management of teachers and staff and a lack of understanding of information technology. Berikut kesimpulan dari pembahasan tersebut: 1) Kecerdasan Emosional Memengaruhi Kepemimpinan: Kepala madrasah yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang tinggi mampu mengelola diri mereka sendiri dan hubungan dengan orang lain dengan lebih baik. Mereka dapat mengatasi tantangan, mengelola konflik, dan memotivasi staf serta siswa dengan lebih efektif. 2) Pentingnya Lingkungan Belajar yang Positif: Kepala madrasah yang memimpin dengan kecerdasan emosional cenderung menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif dan inklusif. Manajemen Konflik dan Stres yang Efektif: Kecerdasan emosional membantu kepala madrasah dalam mengelola konflik dan stres dengan bijaksana, sehingga mereka dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat dan menghindari dampak negatif pada lingkungan madrasah. 4). Mendorong Pertumbuhan Emosional Siswa: Kepala madrasah yang memperhatikan kecerdasan emosional juga akan memperhatikan kesejahteraan emosional siswa. Mereka dapat menciptakan program-program yang mendukung pertumbuhan sosial dan emosional siswa. 5). Pengembangan Diri dan Pembelajaran Berkelanjutan: Penting bagi kepala madrasah untuk terus mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional mereka melalui pelatihan, mentoring, dan refleksi diri. Tujuan penelitrian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan supervise Kepala Sekolah Dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru&nbsp; SMA IT Nurul Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun tekni analisa data menggunakan analisa dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru&nbsp; di SMA IT Nurul . Temuan lapangan dalam penelitian ini adalah: perencanaan supervise kepala sekolah dilakukan secara terencana, sistematis dan berkesinambungan Pada tahap ini kepala sekoalah melakukan tahapan penentuan nama guru yang akan diobservasikan, menentukan waktu observasi, menyusun kisi-kisi observasi, menentukan apakah observasi kelas diketahui guru atau tidak, hal ini berdasarkan kesepakatan antara kepala sekolah dengan guru. Pada tahapan pelaksanaan observasi, aktivitas kepala sekoalah ternya tidak mengganggu jalannya proses pembelajaran&nbsp; di kelas bahkan kepala sekolah diakhir jam pelajaran memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik untuk terus belajar dengan rajin. Pada tahapan tindak lanjut hasil supervise dibahas bersama-sama antar guru&nbsp; dengan kepala sekolah yang membahas kekurangan –kekurangan guru dalam mengajar dengan harapan dimasa mendatang guru dapat memperbaikinya. The following are the conclusions from the discussion: 1) Emotional Intelligence Directs Leadership: Madrasah heads who have high emotional intelligence are able to manage themselves and build relationships with other people better. They can overcome challenges, manage conflicts, and motivate staff and students more effectively. 2) The Importance of a Positive Learning Environment: Madrasah principals who excel with emotional intelligence tend to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This has a positive impact on student motivation, staff performance and the overall quality of education. 3). Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis is carried out by giving meaning to the data collected and then drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the professionalism of PAI teachers at SMA N 15 Bandar Lampungcan be seen from their ability to carry out their professional duties, which include personality competence, social competence and professional competence. In the teaching and learning process PAI teachers teach subjects that are in accordance with the educational and scientific basis they study, so that teachers are able to plan, implement and evaluate the teaching and learning process well, although there are still some teachers who have educational backgrounds that are not from the field or department of teaching. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori evaluasi dan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Menurut Sugiyono, penelitian evaluasi bertujuan membandingkan kejadian, kegiatan, dan produk dengan standar dan program yang telah ditetapkan untuk menjelaskan fenomena. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh bahwa Implementasi manajemen sumber daya tenaga kependidikan di Rumah Quran Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Melalui manajemen yang efektif, Rumah Quran dapat memberikan pelayanan pendidikan yang lebih baik kepada masyarakat. Dalam implementasinya, terdapat beberapa kesimpulan yang dapat diambil: 1). Pentingnya Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia: Manajemen sumber daya tenaga kependidikan menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan staf pendidikan dengan baik. Ini termasuk perekrutan yang tepat, pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, dan pengembangan karyawan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. 2). Kepemimpinan yang efektif dari pihak pengelola sangat penting dalam memastikan bahwa sumber daya manusia di Rumah Quran bekerja secara optimal. Kepemimpinan yang visioner, inspiratif, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan potensi karyawan akan mendorong terciptanya lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan inovatif. 3) Implementasi manajemen sumber daya tenaga kependidikan harus mendorong profesionalisme dan peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (<em>field research</em>) yang berjenis kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memberikan makna terhadap data yang dikumpulkan kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru PAI di MA Raudhatul Ulum dapat dilihat dari kemampuannya dalam melaksanakan tugas profesinya, yang meliputi kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi profesional. Dalam proses belajar mengajar guru PAI mengampu mata pelajaran yang sesuai dengan dasar pendidikan dan keilmuan yang dipelajarinya, sehingga guru mampu merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi proses belajarmengajar dengan baik, walaupun masih ada beberapa guru yang mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan bukan dari bidang atau jurusan keguruan. Dari hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Komunikasi interpersonal Kepala Sekolah dengan guru secara lisan dilakukan melalui interaksi langsung seperti pembicaraan tatap muka, arahan langsung dalam rapat, dan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru. (2) Komunikasi tertulis antara kepala sekolah dan guru menggunakan surat resmi untuk memberikan instruksi terkait kegiatan rapat rutin. Temuan lapangan dalam penelitian ini adalah: perencanaan supervise kepala sekolah dilakukan secara terencana, sistematis dan berkesinambungan Pada tahap ini kepala sekoalah melakukan tahapan penentuan nama guru yang akan diobservasikan, menentukan waktu observasi, menyusun kisi-kisi observasi, menentukan apakah observasi kelas diketahui guru atau tidak, hal ini berdasarkan kesepakatan antara kepala sekolah dengan guru. Pada tahapan pelaksanaan observasi, aktivitas kepala sekoalah ternya tidak mengganggu jalannya proses pembelajaran&nbsp; di kelas bahkan kepala sekolah diakhir jam pelajaran memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik untuk terus belajar dengan rajin. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data digunakan untuk mengungkapkan hasil penelitian terkait implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Pondok Pesantren dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di Pondok Al Huda. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, penulis mengidentifikasi masalah peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik sebagai fokus penelitian yang relevan. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh kepala Madrasah mencakup peningkatan disiplin guru dan pegawai, memberikan motivasi kepada guru dengan memberikan reward pada setiap kegiatan, mengevaluasi pelaksanaan tugas guru, staf administrasi, kepala, dan wakil kepala Madrasah, serta mengadakan studi banding ke sekolah-sekolah di Merauke. Researchers used triangulation techniques to check the validity of the data. The results of this research, SMA 1 Pesisir Selatan Regency Pesisir Barat Lampung used a democratic leadership style. The School Based Management Model is implemented in accordance with school needs and government regulations. Principals implement management strategies that give schools more autonomy and flexibility while encouraging direct involvement of students and the community in improving school quality. The data sources are madrasah principals and their deputies, teachers and students who were selected purposively and using snowball sampling. The data collection techniques used were observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is inductive, with the steps: reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The results of this research show that teacher discipline at SMAN 1 Gunung Sugih, Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung Regency is quite good as evidenced by 1) the majority of teachers comply with madrasa rules, 2) the majority of teachers are diligent in teaching, 3) the majority of teachers are punctual in teaching. , 4) most teachers never leave the classroom before the lesson ends. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type. The results of the research are as follows (1) planning for educators and honorary education staff by proposing from the madrasah to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, using three analyzes namely through needs analysis, position analysis, workload analysis, so that they are able to carry out an analysis of strengths and weaknesses; (2) recruitment of educators and honorary education staff by determining admission qualifications so that competent educators are obtained according to the subjects being taught; while honorary education staff who have the required skills and expertise; (3) the placement of educators refers to the principle of the right man on the right place, however there is still a mismatch of 10% between educational background and the subjects being taught; (4) activities for developing educators and education personnel include education and training in the form of technical guidance, spiritual quantum learning, further studies, self-development through subject teacher deliberations, recitation and coaching activities.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>Management, Educators and Education Personnel</em></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> 2024-04-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 UNISAN JURNAL https://journal.an-nur.ac.id/index.php/unisanjournal/article/view/2376 KEPEMIMPINAN SITUASIONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN DISIPLIN GURU 2024-03-29T17:59:11+00:00 Nurul Azhari yulihabibah9@gmail.com <p><em>The purpose of this research is to determine the situational leadership of school principals in improving teacher discipline at SDIT Insantama Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Province. This research is qualitative research by examining the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument, sampling of data sources is carried out using purposive sampling, the collection technique is using training, data analysis is inductive/qualitative, and the research results emphasize meaning. The results of this research are that the situational leadership of the school principal in improving teacher discipline at SDIT Insantama Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Province was carried out to provide opportunities for teachers to carry out self-development such as continuing their education to a Masters (S2), taking part in 2013 curriculum training, targeting teacher certification and teacher adaptation to education. The school principal carries out organizing efforts to improve the function of teachers at SDIT Insantama Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Province, namely the division of tasks is offered to each personnel according to their abilities. In the aspect of mobilizing the school principal in the form of encouragement, communication and coordination for each personnel to work, even though it does not match the vision and limited facilities. The school principal carries out supervision and is not evaluated regularly. The obstacle for school principals in improving the function of teachers at SDIT Insantama Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Province is that not all teachers are civil servants, which affects their welfare and professionalism. This research uses qualitative descriptive research, and data collection is carried out using interview, observation and documentation methods, all of which are to answer problems regarding the management of Islamic education in improving santri discipline at Pondok Sumber Barokah Karawang, the informants for this research are the Santri Management and Santri. In this research, the researcher found several findings in the management of Islamic education in improving the discipline of santri which include: 1. Planning for educational management in improving the discipline of santri, including a. formulate the goals of students' disciplinary education in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of Pondok Sumber Barokah Karawang; b. create student discipline regulations; c. create guidelines for violations along with the penalties that will be given to disciplinary violators; and D. determine the schedule of student disciplinary activities. 2. Organizing Islamic education management to improve student discipline, including: a. Formulate management; b. Form management according to expertise and create a management organizational structure. 3. Implementation of santri disciplinary education, including a. providing direction regarding santri disciplinary education; b. provide motivation to students regarding student discipline education; c. lead the course of students' disciplinary education; d. communicate with students in providing an understanding of students' disciplinary education; and e. Make decisions regarding student disciplinary violations. 4. Supervision of Islamic education management in improving student discipline, including 2 methods, namely: a. direct supervision consists of going around and reading attendance and b.
