Abstract

Islamic education management is a management process based on Islamic teachings and values in organizing all educational activities, ranging from planning, organizing, implementing, to evaluating. In the modern era, which is marked by technological advancements, globalization, and complex social dynamics, Islamic education management is required to be adaptive without neglecting the fundamental principles of Islamic law (Shari'a). This study aims to examine the basic concepts, main principles, and implementation of Islamic education management in the modern era. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The findings show that the concept of Islamic education management not only emphasizes administrative efficiency and effectiveness but also the integration of spiritual, ethical, and moral values in every managerial process. Principles such as justice, trust (amanah), consultation (shura), and responsibility serve as essential foundations in decision-making. In the modern era, the implementation of Islamic education management must be able to utilize information technology, strengthen visionary leadership, and develop an Islamic work culture that is adaptive and collaborative. Therefore, Islamic education management can make a significant contribution in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also spiritually and morally excellent.
