This study aims to analyze the role of the personality competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students' character at SDN Mendabe Babussalam, Aceh Tenggara, during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation to gather data. The findings indicate that the PAI teachers at this school exhibit strong personality competence, which significantly impacts students' moral and spiritual development. The teachers demonstrate integrity, discipline, patience, responsibility, and emotional stability, which serve as role models for students. The strategies used by the teachers, such as exemplary behavior, habituation, advice, positive reinforcement, individual approaches, and the use of religious moments, play an essential role in shaping students' character. The study also highlights the challenges faced, including the disparity in students' family backgrounds, the influence of social media, and the limited time for character-building activities within the curriculum. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between schools, parents, and communities to ensure effective character development in students.
