PENGARUH KETERAMPILAN MANAJERIAL DAN GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMK NEGERI DI KABUPATEN PESAWARAN

Abstract

: The purpose of this study is to determine the competence as a principal of this school will be a provision in carrying out the tasks that must be done. The principal as a manager should also be able to understand the indicators of the principal's managerial skills, both conceptual skills, human skills, and technical skills. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. Related to this research, which uses a quantitative approach, based on that definition, namely: quantitative research includes every type of research that is based on the calculation of the presentation, average, chi squared and other statistical calculations. This study focuses on the effect of managerial skills and principals' leadership style on the performance of SMK Negeri teachers in Pesawaran district. The purpose of the study was to find out how much influence the managerial skills and leadership style of the principal on the performance of teachers in State Vocational High Schools in Pesawaran district. The results showed that based on the simultaneous test of the principal's managerial skills and the principal's leadership style together, the results obtained an R value of 0.776 and an R square of 0.602 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the magnitude of the effect was 60.2%, meaning that between managerial skills the principal and the principal's leadership style can significantly influence and support teacher performance in teaching. While the rest is influenced by other factors of teacher performance such as factors, age, level of satisfaction, years of service and experience as well as teacher education
