Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and the growing demand for sustainable development have created significant challenges for Islamic educational institutions in maintaining educational quality, institutional relevance, and organizational sustainability. Responding to these challenges requires the development of a sustainable educational management ecosystem that integrates digital innovation, collaborative governance, and Islamic values. This study explores the development of a sustainable Islamic education management ecosystem at MA Wathoniyah Islamiyah Candipuro, South Lampung. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the development of a sustainable educational ecosystem is supported by transformational leadership, teacher capacity building, digital literacy enhancement, stakeholder collaboration, and the integration of Islamic values into institutional governance. The ecosystem has contributed to improving educational quality, strengthening organizational adaptability, expanding community participation, and enhancing institutional competitiveness. Furthermore, the integration of digital transformation with Islamic educational principles has enabled the madrasa to respond effectively to contemporary challenges while preserving its religious identity. These findings indicate that a sustainable Islamic education management ecosystem can serve as a strategic model for strengthening institutional resilience and promoting educational development in the digital era.
