PENGARUH ETOS KERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MUTU SEKOLAH DI SMP AL HUDA KECAMATAN JATI AGUNG KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the principal's Etos Kerjaon in improving teacher performance at SMP Al Huda Kecamatan Jati Agung. This research uses a qualitative method of inductive data analysis, directs research targets to efforts to find theories, attaches more importance to processes than results, chooses a set of criteria for writing the validity of data, the research design is temporary and the research results are agreed upon by the research subject. This research is a field research using observational data collection techniques, interviews and documentation As for data analysis techniques using analysis in improving teacher performance at SMP Al Huda Kecamatan Jati Agung. The field findings in this study are: the principal's Etos Kerjaon planning is carried out in a planned, systematic and continuous manner At this stagethe head of the school carries out the stages of determining the name of the teacher to be observed, determining the time of observation, compiling the observation grid, determining whether the class observation is known to the teacher or not, this is based on an agreement between principal with teacher At the stage of observation, the principal's activities did not interfere with the learning process in the classroom, even the principal at the end of class time gave motivation to students to continue to study diligently In the followup stage, the results of Etos Kerjaon were discussed together between the teacher and the principal who discussed the shortcomings of the teacher in teaching in the hope that in the future the teacher could improve it
