MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIK MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS
Abstract
The world of Indonesian education currently has challenges in producing quality graduates with superior personalities, who are competitive both nationally and internationally. In solving this problem, madrasas can implement several strategies to improve the quality of their education, among others, by implementing planning strategies. This study aims to analyze the strategy of implementing strategic planning on the quality of education at SD Negeri 2 Batu Puti.h This research uses a case study type approach with a multi-site design and data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation techniques. The analysis technique includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data is done by source triangulation and triangulation methods. The results of this study indicate that: First, the preparation of initial planning through the following stages: a) analysis of the internal and external environment using SWOT analysis, involving stakeholders, assessing the factors that affect the quality of madrasas, capturing information on the current condition of madrasas and in the future; b) the formulation strategy, which is carried out by the team, adjusts the conditions of the madrasa and takes into account the expectations of stakeholders. Second, the technique of implementing the planning strategy in 2 ways, namely: a) involving stakeholders by giving authority to staff, distributing programs at the beginning of the year, arranging coordination every month, and assigning tasks according to their fields; b) maximizing the available resources by budgeting the cost of program implementation, providing training to teachers, and using existing facilities and infrastructure
