The role of the teacher greatly influences the religious behavior of the students of SDN 144 OKU. The teacher's role is not only in the teaching and learning process, because the activities carried out by students depend on the teacher. This study aims to determine (a) the role of the teacher (b) the religious behavior of students and, (c) the benefits of the religious behavior of students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach of the teacher's role in fostering religious behavior by collecting data through primary data sources, namely teachers and students, while secondary sources are in the form of observations, interviews and documentation with data collection techniques, namely data reduction and data presentation and verification in Madrasahs. Aliyah Al-Akbar. The results of this study prove that (1) the role of the teacher has carried out its role in fostering the religious behavior of students, as a teacher mentor to provide motivation to students to carry out religious behavior both during the teaching and learning process, be polite and courteous in words and actions. In religious behavior, teachers act as advisors and coaches for students to carry out religious behavior, including dhuha prayer, congregational prayers either at the madrasa or at home, giving charity, donating to memorizing prayers, fasting, tithing, and reading the Qur'an. and conducting ROHIS activities in Madrasahs on Fridays.
