Abstract

The role of the teacher greatly influences the religious behavior of SDS IT Cipta Insan Cendikia students. The role of the teacher is not only in the teaching and learning process, because the activities carried out by students depend on the teacher. This study aims to determine (a) the role of the teacher (b) the religious behavior of students and, (c) the benefits of religious behavior of students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach from the teacher's role in fostering religious behavior by collecting data through primary data sources, namely teachers and students while secondary sources are in the form of observations, interviews and documentation with data collection techniques, namely data reduction and data presentation and verification in SDS. IT Cipta Insan Scholar. The results of this study prove that 1) the role of the teacher has carried out his role in fostering the religious behavior of students, as a teacher guide providing motivation to students to carry out religious behavior both during the teaching and learning process, being polite and courteous in words and deeds. 2). Implementation of the role of the teacher In fostering religious behavior at SDS IT Cipta Insan Cendikia the teacher acts as an advisor and trainer for students to carry out religious behavior including dhuha prayers, congregational prayers either at school or at home, giving alms, making donations memorizing prayers, fasting , giving zakat, and reading and memorizing the Koran and carrying out ROHIS activities at school on Fridays. 3). The religious behavior of SDS IT Cipta Insan Cendikia students can be seen that most of them have done it in everyday life in the school environment, although there are still a small number of students who are not good at carrying out routine activities of implementing religious behavior. This is because there are obstacles that come from families who do not play an active role in fostering and guiding their children when they are in the family environment. Because basically the family is the initial foundation in forming the behavior of students at home. But this does not really have an impact on the behavioral activities of other students. , because students remind each other and PAI teachers participate in motivating and guiding students.
