Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of the madrasah head in improving the quality of teaching and learning activities at MTs Washilatul Huda Bandar Dalam, Sidomulyo District, South Lampung. This research includes empirical qualitative research using a field research approach (field evaluation research). There are several methods of collecting data, namely observation, interviews and documentation. As for the steps taken in analyzing, namely by collecting data, data reduction, data display (presentation of data), verification (drawing conclusions). The results of this study indicate that the efforts of the Head of Madrasah in Improving the Quality of Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) are that the Head of MTs Washilatul Huda Bandar Dalam always seeks to improve the quality of teaching and learning, with efforts such as Always seeking teachers according to their respective competencies, always holding or following training on the ability to manage KBM. Supporting factors The head of the madrasa always focuses on his work, there is solid and compact cooperation between the head of the madrasa, teachers and employees. While the inhibiting factors in improving the quality of teaching and learning at MTs Washilatul Huda Bandar Dalam are that there are still teachers who lack discipline, such as arriving late to school, late for class, relatively minimal education budget/funds.
