PENGEMBANGAN STRATEGI ACTIVE LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PAI DI ERA DIGITAL

The rapid development of digital technology in the modern era requires innovation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to make it more interactive, contextual, and relevant to students’ needs. Teacher-centered learning approaches are considered less effective in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. This study aims to develop an active learning strategy in PAI learning in the digital era that is effective, innovative, and based on Islamic values. The research method employed is a library research approach with a qualitative descriptive-analytical design, analyzing relevant scholarly literature from the last five years. Data analysis techniques use content analysis through stages of data reduction, classification, and interpretation. The results indicate that digital-based active learning strategies integrating pedagogical approaches, digital technology, and Islamic values can significantly improve student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes in cognitive, affective, and spiritual domains. In conclusion, this strategy offers an innovative solution for PAI learning in the digital era and has strong potential for broader implementation to improve educational quality.
