Abstract

The development of digital technology in the modern era requires transformation in Islamic Religious Education (IRE), particularly in integrating digital literacy and religious moderation values to foster students’ critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the integration of digital literacy and religious moderation in IRE learning and its implications for improving students' critical thinking abilities. The method used is a qualitative approach with library research, analyzing various relevant scientific literature from the last five years. The results indicate that the integration of digital literacy and religious moderation enhances students' ability to analyze, evaluate, and filter digital information critically, while also fostering tolerant, inclusive, and responsible attitudes. In conclusion, IRE learning based on the integration of digital literacy and religious moderation is effective in improving critical thinking skills and shaping moderate religious character among students in the digital era.
