Abstract

This study is motivated by the need for transforming Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning strategies in the digital era, which demands adaptive, contextual, and student-centered approaches. The purpose of this study is to analyze contemporary PAI learning strategies, identify emerging trends and characteristics, and formulate a conceptual model of learning strategies relevant to 21st-century educational demands. This research employs a literature study method with a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing scholarly. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques, including data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and synthesis. The findings reveal that contemporary PAI learning strategies are characterized by a shift toward student-centered learning, integration of digital technology, implementation of innovative learning models such as Problem-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning, and emphasis on holistic and contextual internalization of Islamic values. The study concludes that effective PAI learning strategies in the modern era must integrate pedagogical, technological, and value-based aspects simultaneously within a systematic and adaptive learning framework
