Abstract

Islam is a religion that is familiar with the flow of globalization both in the legal sector (sharia) and in the field of educational institution development. Indonesia is one of the countries with a majority Muslim population that has regulated the National Education System in Law No. 20 of 2003, this effort is to equalize and improve the quality of existing education. Especially in Islamic Religious Education learning which aims not only to develop knowledge about Islam, but also to shape the character and personality of students in accordance with Islamic rules themselves. This study aims to examine and study the phenomena that occur regarding the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the quality of learning, especially in the field of Islamic Religion. The method used in this study is qualitative-descriptive where the data is obtained through the stages of observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary and secondary data can be obtained by determining samples that contain elements of 3M (knowing, understanding, and experiencing), information acquisition is carried out directly according to events (natural setting). In realizing this, every educational institution needs competent educators (teachers) who have high creativity who are able to create a positive atmosphere in the learning process. In Armaniyah Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT), a PAI teacher must be able to make himself a multi-talent approach, synetics approach, pictorial approach, self-esteem, value clarification and moral development, and inquiry. All of that aims to increase creativity internally and as a whole which has a direct impact on students.
