PENANGANAN ANAK HIPERAKTIF MELALUI TERAPI PERMAINAN PUZZLE (STUDI KASUS) DI TK BUNDA BIARO BARU KECAMATAN KARANG DAPO KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS UTARA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of puzzle play therapy in handling hyperactive behavior in early childhood at TK Bunda Biaro Baru, Karang Dapo District, Musi Rawas Utara Regency, during the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is qualitative with a case study approach. The subjects were one hyperactive child, the classroom teacher, and the school principal. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of puzzle play therapy helped reduce hyperactive behavior, increased concentration, patience, and problem-solving skills. The child began to sit calmly for longer periods and demonstrated better focus during learning. It can be concluded that puzzle play therapy is effective as an educational therapeutic approach for managing hyperactive children in early childhood education settings.
