Abstract

Educational Islamic management is a structured effort to organize human resources, facilities, and the educational environment in line with Islamic vision and mission. This article aims to examine the functions of classical management—planning, organizing, acting, and controlling—and their relevance in developing Islamic educational institutions. The research method used is library research, which involves reviewing relevant literature, journals, and books on Islamic educational management. The findings show that planning in Islamic education must be based on the values of the Qur’an and Hadith, organizing should focus on fair and professional task distribution, acting emphasizes exemplary behavior and Islamic leadership, while controlling ensures quality, accountability, and the sustainability of the educational institution. Thus, management functions are not just technical tools, but also means to instill spiritual values in the educational process. The implications of this research highlight the importance of integrating modern management functions with Islamic principles to create effective, efficient, and character-based Islamic educational institutions.
