The ecotheology-based cooperative learning strategy in Akidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed and Ethics) education offers an alternative learning model that not only emphasizes cognitive aspects but also shapes students’ character and collective environmental awareness. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 26 eighth-grade students of MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung. The learning model applied was STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions), integrated with Islamic ecotheological values such as amanah (trust), responsibility, and the concept of khalifah fil ardh (vicegerent on Earth). The strategy was implemented through group discussions, direct observation of the school environment, and simple projects aimed at fostering cleanliness and environmental care. Findings revealed a significant improvement in student participation, ecological awareness, and collective behavior, reflected in students’ greater concern for cleanliness, initiative in reminding peers, and active engagement in environmental projects. This strategy proved effective in integrating spiritual and ecological values contextually and meaningfully into Akidah Akhlak learning.
