Abstract

The development of digital technology offers both opportunities and challenges for the world of education, particularly in the management of educational institutions which requires efficiency, transparency, and adaptability to the dynamics of change. However, the strong current of globalization poses the risk of eroding national values that should serve as the main pillar in shaping students’ character. Therefore, an educational management approach is needed that integrates the utilization of digital technology with the reinforcement of national values. This study aims to analyze the concept of optimizing educational management through the integration of digital technology and national values in order to create an education system that is both adaptive and rooted in national identity. This research employs a literature review method by examining relevant literature, theories, and prior studies related to educational digitalization, educational management, and national character education. The findings reveal that digital technology plays a crucial role in accelerating and facilitating the functions of educational management, while national values serve as a moral foundation in maintaining the direction and objectives of national education. The integration of both aspects provides a more effective, adaptive, and character-oriented model of educational management. It is concluded that educational management in the disruption era is not only required to be digitally proficient but must also be grounded in national values in order to nurture a generation that is both intelligent and characterized by strong national identity
