This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of audio-visual learning media in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak class VII at MTs Raudlatul Muta'allimin Kasui Way Kanan. The background of this study is based on the low interest in learning of students and the limited use of varied learning media, which has an impact on the achievement of less than optimal learning outcomes. The research method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through learning outcome tests, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the use of audio-visual media compared to before its use. Audio-visual media has proven effective in attracting students' attention, increasing learning motivation, and helping to understand the material of Aqidah Akhlak in a more concrete and enjoyable way. Thus, the use of audio-visual media is recommended as one of the learning strategies to improve the quality of education, especially in Islamic Religious Education learning.
