Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the project method in developing early childhood creativity in TK Aisyiyah 1 Tarakan. Creativity is one of the important aspects in child development that needs to be stimulated early on so that children's potential can develop optimally. The project method was chosen because it provides opportunities for children to be actively involved in the learning process, explore ideas, and complete tasks independently or in groups. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the project method can improve early childhood creativity in various aspects such as divergent thinking skills, creating works, and conveying ideas openly. Teachers have an important role in designing projects that are in accordance with children's interests and providing guidance that encourages initiative and exploration. The implications of this study indicate that the project method is effectively applied in learning to develop early childhood creativity.
