Teacher performance and commitment are two interrelated aspects in creating an effective and quality learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the principal plays a strategic role in directing, motivating, and creating a conducive work environment for teachers. The transformative leadership style applied by the principal has proven effective in building work enthusiasm, increasing discipline, and fostering a sense of belonging to the institution among teachers. In addition, the success of leadership management is also influenced by interpersonal communication, exemplary behavior, and the principal's ability to optimally empower teacher potential. This study concludes that visionary and contextual leadership management can be the key to improving the performance and commitment of PKPPS teachers, especially in Islamic boarding schools. The implications of this study are expected to be a reference in formulating policies and strategies to improve the quality of Islamic education based on Islamic boarding schools.
