This study aims to determine the extent of the application of the storytelling method in the language development of group B children aged 5-6 years at Ra Al-Wardah, Baru Manggar Village, East Belitung in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study is a descriptive qualitative study with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of the storytelling method in the language development of children at Tra Al-Wardah, Baru Manggar Village, East Belitung in the 2024/2025 academic year has been implemented well. The results of achievement according to children's language development are measured from the indicators of child development achievement in the scope of language development of children aged 5-6 years. These development indicators include; Children can understand language by repeating commands simultaneously, repeating more complex sentences, and understanding the rules of a game. On the other hand, children are also able to answer more complex questions, increase their vocabulary, and construct sentences with complete structures.
