ANALISIS LITERASI SAINS DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI SEKOLAH
Abstract
The need for literacy in this global era requires the government to provide and facilitate educational systems and services in accordance with the 1945 Constitution, Article 31, Paragraph 3, "The government seeks and implements a national education system that increases faith and piety as well as noble morals in order to make the nation's life intelligent, which is regulated by law". This verse emphasizes that the literacy program also includes efforts to develop human potential which includes intellectual, emotional, linguistic, aesthetic, social and spiritual intelligence, with the ability to adapt to developments in technological and information flows. Scientific literacy is literacy in scientific knowledge with scientific skills to be able to identify questions, draw conclusions based on evidence to make decisions. The dimensions of scientific literacy include aspects of context, content, competence and attitudes. Scientific literacy indicators include class base indicators and class culture base indicators. The components of the science process according to PISA are recognizing scientific questions, identifying evidence, drawing and evaluating conclusions, communicating valid conclusions, and demonstrating understanding.
