This study aims to analyze the principal's management functions in improving the performance of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at SMA Nasional Makassar during the 2024/2025 academic year. The performance of PAI teachers is crucial in creating a generation that is not only academically competent but also possesses moral and spiritual values. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the principal plays a vital role in organizing, directing, and supervising, which has a direct impact on teacher performance. Moreover, support for facilities and ongoing training is also a determining factor in improving the quality of PAI teaching. Thus, effective management by the principal significantly contributes to enhancing teacher performance.
