Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a developmental disorder that affects children's behavior, characterized by difficulties in concentrating, increased motor activity, and poor impulse control. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Play-Doh play therapy in managing children with ADHD at TK Islam Terpadu Salsabila Sekadau, West Kalimantan, for the academic year 2024/2025. Utilizing a qualitative approach, data were gathered from direct observations and interviews with teachers and parents. The results indicate that Play-Doh play therapy can enhance concentration, fine motor skills, and social interaction among children with ADHD. The study further found that play activities help to alleviate ADHD symptoms and improve children's learning experiences. These findings can serve as an important guideline for educators and parents in supporting children facing challenges related to ADHD.
