Abstract

The implementation of strategic management in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers is a crucial step in facing the challenges of education in the modern era. This research provides an in-depth analysis of various strategies that can be used to enhance the competence and professionalism of PAI teachers. The improvement of PAI teacher quality not only impacts the educational process but also the character development of students, which is an integral part of religious education. By employing both qualitative and quantitative approaches, this study explores the effectiveness of various capacity-building programs and training that have been implemented in several educational institutions. The results indicate that the implementation of strategic management, which includes data-driven approaches, continuous development, and inter-institutional collaboration, can facilitate the enhancement of PAI teacher quality. This research contributes to the development of more effective educational policies that are relevant to current societal needs.
