Reading difficulties in Al-Qur'an are one of the challenges frequently faced by students in Indonesia, particularly at the elementary school level. This study explores the efforts made by Islamic Education teachers at SD Negeri 060957 in Medan Belawan, to overcome these difficulties. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The findings indicate several effective strategies implemented, such as the use of multimedia, repetitive practice methods, and personalized teaching approaches. Additionally, parental support plays a significant role in students' success in reading Al-Qur'an. This study recommends that the school develop training programs for teachers in Al-Qur'an instruction.
