KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH STUDI KASUS POLA KOMUNIKASI ANTARA KEPALA SEKOLAH DAN GURU DI SMA NEGERI 1 SUKAU PEKON PAGAR DEWA KECAMATAN SUKAU KABUPATEN LAMPUNG BARAT TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The pattern of interpersonal communication between the Principal and the teacher verbally in SMAN 01 Sukau Pekon Pagar Dewa (2) The pattern of interpersonal communication between the Principal and the teacher in writing in SMAN 01 Sukau Pekon Pagar Dewa. (3) The effectiveness of the interpersonal communication pattern of the principal in SMAN 01 Sukau Pekon Pagar Dewa. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, with data sources being principals and teachers at SMAN 01 Sukau Pekon Pagar Dewa. The data collection technique in this research is the method of observation, interviews and documentation, the data analysis using interactive analysis which includes: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it is known that: (1) The pattern of interpersonal communication between the Principal and the teacher is verbally carried out face-to-face such as greetings, direct directions both in meetings and in the daily work environment in an effort to improve teacher performance. (2) The pattern of communication between the principal and the teacher in writing is carried out by an official letter which is used to instruct teachers when there are routine meeting activities. In addition to official letters, written communications are also delivered using applications such as SMS, BBM and Whatsapp. (3) The effectiveness of the principal's interpersonal communication pattern has been running quite well through the dimensions of effective interpersonal communication (openness, empathy, support, being positive/positive, similar, audible, and humble)
