Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of teacher creativity in enhancing student motivation and learning outcomes at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Tanjung Rahu. The research employs a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the teacher’s role in the learning process. The findings indicate that teacher creativity has a significant impact on improving students’ learning motivation. Teachers who implement innovative teaching approaches are able to create an engaging learning environment that encourages active student participation in the learning process. Creativity in teaching also positively influences the improvement of learning outcomes, particularly in students’ comprehension and application of the Al-Qur’an and Hadith material in daily life.Furthermore, support from the principal, fellow educators, and the school environment contributes to enhancing teacher motivation, which ultimately affects the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes. These findings have important implications for the development of teaching strategies at MIS Tanjung Rahu and can serve as a reference for other educational institutions seeking to improve the quality of Islamic religious education through the application of creativity in teaching Al-Qur’an and Hadith.
