PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PERSPEKTIF SUNNAH SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN MUTU BINA PRIBADI ISLAMI PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI MAN 1 OGAN KOMERING ULU SUMATERA SELATAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024 / 2025
Abstract
Character education is a fundamental element in the formation of individuals who possess noble morals and integrity. In the context of Islamic education, the integration of character values derived from the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW becomes crucial in enhancing the quality of student personality development. This journal discusses the implementation of character education from the perspective of sunnah at MAN 1 Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra, as an effort to improve the quality of education and student personality development. This research employs qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed to identify the implementation of character values in teaching and learning activities. The results indicate that the integration of character values into the curriculum and extracurricular activities has positively impacted the development of students' morals and behaviors. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of character education in other Islamic schools.
