EFEKTIFITAS PEMANFAATAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN AUDIO VISUAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BERLAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN PAI SD SWASTA ISLAM YAYASAN HJ DZAIDAH-DARWIS DARUN-NAJAH BATU BARA SUMATERA UTARA

Abstract

This study focuses on the effectiveness of utilizing audiovisual learning media to improve students' learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI) at Yayasan HJ Dzaidah-Darwis Darun-Najah Islamic Private School in Batu Bara, North Sumatra. Traditional teaching methods, which often lack engagement for students, face challenges in enhancing student involvement. Therefore, the integration of audiovisual media into the learning process is aimed at creating a more interactive and engaging atmosphere. The results indicate that the implementation of audiovisual learning media significantly contributes to the improvement of student learning outcomes, as demonstrated by better test results compared to the group not using this media. The study involved 60 students and used an experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. Data analysis results showed a significant increase in the average scores of students' learning outcomes after the application of audiovisual media. Therefore, this research recommends schools adopt audiovisual learning media as a strategy to enhance the quality of education, especially in PAI learning.
