Abstract

Critical thinking is an essential competency in 21st-century learning, particularly in science education such as Physics, which demands logical analysis and problem-solving skills. This study aims to examine in depth the role of digital literacy integration in Physics education to enhance students' critical thinking abilities. The method used is a literature review by analyzing 12 sources from national and international journals as well as relevant reference books. Based on the results of the literature review, it can be concluded that the integration of digital literacy in science (Physics) education significantly contributes to the enhancement of students' critical thinking skills. Digital media such as interactive simulations, virtual laboratories, and concept visualization tools have proven effective in increasing student engagement, strengthening conceptual understanding, and encouraging in-depth scientific analysis and evaluation. Although challenges such as technological access gaps and teacher readiness exist, these can be addressed through strengthened digital education policies, continuous professional development, and adaptive curriculum development. With optimal utilization, digital literacy not only enriches the teaching and learning process but also serves as a strategic means of shaping a generation of learners who are critical, reflective, and adaptive to the demands of the changing times.
