STRATEGI KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SMP HIMMATUL UMMAH D’KANDANG DEPOK PADA TAHUN 2023/2024

Abstract

This study aims to describe and reveal the quality ot education, stategic steps and implications of the principal’s stategy in improving the quality of educatio at Himmatul Ummah junior high school D’kandang depok, this study uses a qualitatative research approach with research using case studies, data colelection in taken from observations, interviews, and documentation of data that are in accordance with the study. This study found the following : 1) The quality of education at SMP Himmatu Ummah D’kandang Depok includes eight national education standars, in addition to assessing the quality of education, the school also uses graduate competency standards,  whitch means that the quality of edcation can be said to be goog if its graduates can be accepted well in society, 2) Stategic steps taken by the principal in inproving the quality of education SMP Himmatul Ummah Dkandang Depok ara to create ( policies, such as,  a) Creating a sustainable program to improve the quality of education at the school, b) Improving the quality of human resources starting  from teachers then students, c ) Adding faciliaties and infrastukture, 3) Imlication for students and institusions from the implementation of the principal’s stategy in omproving the quality of education at SMP Himmatul Ummah D’kandang Depok stuedents are able to provide benetist to society and the community.
