Manajemen Kurikulum Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Islam dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung Lampung Selatan
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic values-based curriculum management in shaping students' character at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results indicate that curriculum planning is conducted participatively, involving the head of the madrasa, teachers, and religious figures. The implementation of an Islamic values-based curriculum is carried out through the integration of Islamic values in subjects, daily worship habituation, and the exemplary role of teachers in everyday life. Curriculum evaluation is conducted by assessing academic aspects, students' character, and participation in Islamic activities. The main challenges in implementing an Islamic values-based curriculum include the influence of global culture, the limited number of competent educators, and a social environment that does not fully support Islamic education. However, through strategies such as strengthening teacher training, collaboration with parents, and innovations in Islamic technology-based learning methods, the madrasa has been able to improve the effectiveness of its Islamic-based curriculum implementation. Thus, Islamic values-based curriculum management has proven effective in shaping students' character based on noble Islamic values.
