Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Material on Believing in the Book of Allah for class VIII students at SMPN 9 Krui, Ngambur District, Pesisir Barat Regency. This research aims to describe the implementation of improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes using a peer lesson type cooperative model for class VIII students at SMPN 9 Krui, Ngambur District, Pesisir Barat Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The focus of this research is learning outcomes and the application of the peer lesson model. The setting of this research is students in class VIII at SMPN 9 Krui, Ngambur District, Pesisir Barat Regency, academic year 2023/2024. The research subjects were teachers and students of class VIII SMPN 9 Krui, Ngambur District, Pesisir Barat Regency with a total of 25 students consisting of 16 female students and 9 male students. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques
