MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER: STUDY KASUS DI MTS HIDAYATUL MUBTADIIN
Abstract
This study aims to obtain an overview of character education management at MTS HIDAYATUL MUBTADIIN Bandung which includes planning, implementation, evaluation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research was conducted at MTS HIDAYATUL MUBTADIIN Balenendah Bandung with data sources including principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through triangulation of observations, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the management of Character Education in MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin was well structured, especially covering the functions of the Implementation Management of Character Education Management. However, at the planning stage of Character Education Management and Organizing Character Education Management, it is necessary to improve, especially regarding the formulation of characters and the preparation of written Standard Operational Procedures (SOP). Although there is no SOP, the process of implementing Character Education Management is going well because the teacher's sense of devotion is an internal motivation in carrying out the character education function even though there is no written SOP.
