PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SD, SMP, SMA ISLAM INTEGRAL HIDAYATULLAH BATU AJI BATAM

Abstract

This research is aimed at; (a) Analyzing the influence  of principal’s leadership towards teacher’s performance at private school in Batu Aji Batam(b) Analyzing the influence of working motivation towards teacher’s performance at private school in Batu Aji Batam(c) Analyzing the influence of both principal’s leadership and working motivation towards teacher’s performance at private school in Batu Aji BatamThis research is a quantitative research. The population of this research is 34 teachers of SD, SMP, SMA Islam Integral Hidayatullah Batu Aji Batam. All the members of population became the sample in this research (total sampling). The methods used for data collecting are questionnaire and documentation while the data analysis used product moment formula with spss program version 23. It is concluded that the better the principal’s leadership the better teacher’s performance is and vice versa. Therefore principal’s leadership needs to be improved so that teacher’s performance also improved. Whilst the teacher that has good working motivation will have better performance,  teacher that doesn’t have good working motivation will have bad  performance. Both principal’s leadership and working motivation will make teacher’s performance better and vice versa. Keywords: principal’s leadership, working motivation, teacher’s performance.
