Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning at Pondok Pesantren Modern Nurul Ilmi Muhammadiyah. Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning is understood as an educational process that focuses on memorizing and deeply understanding the Qur’an. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that Pondok Pesantren Modern Nurul Ilmi Muhammadiyah applies a well-structured and systematic learning system that combines traditional and modern methods, supported by intensive guidance from competent instructors. The Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program at this institution has proven effective in improving students’ memorization abilities, deepening their understanding of the Qur’an’s content, and fostering noble character. This success is supported by a conducive learning environment, high student motivation, and full support from the institution. However, the study also identified several challenges, such as differences in students’ memorization abilities and time management issues that need to be addressed through more effective strategies.
