Abstract
This research discusses the use of Cooperative Learning techniques in the context of Islamic religious education at the Dwi Warna Kindergarten level in Bandar Lampung City. The main aim of the research is to explore the impact of using Cooperative Learning techniques in encouraging group collaboration and creativity, as well as increasing student motivation and involvement in Islamic learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with Islamic students and teachers who were involved in using Cooperative Learning techniques. The results of research techniques show that this research shows that the use of Cooperative Learning in Islamic Religious Education in Kindergarten has a significant impact in increasing collaboration, creativity, motivation and student involvement. Through this approach, students become more active in collaborating in completing learning tasks, discussing and sharing thoughts with fellow group members. The interactive and group-based learning process also gives birth to creative ideas in understanding and applying Islamic teachings in everyday life. Teachers have an important role as facilitators in guiding students, facilitating discussions, providing constructive feedback, and providing clear direction about learning objectives. In addition, group-based learning also increases student motivation and engagement, and creates an inclusive learning environment where every student feels welcome and valued. Therefore, Cooperative Learning learning techniques can be an effective strategy in increasing the effectiveness of Islamic learning in high schools, by providing opportunities for students to develop social skills, critical thinking, and the application of religious values in everyday life.
