Abstract

This study aims to analyze the recruitment management of educators and educational staff at SMPS Al Kahfi Islamic School in Batam Kota. Effective recruitment management is crucial for ensuring that the school employs qualified and competent personnel to deliver high-quality education. This research uses a qualitative approach, involving interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data.

The findings reveal that the recruitment process at SMPS Al Kahfi Islamic School follows a structured and comprehensive approach. Key stages include planning, announcement, selection, and orientation. During the planning stage, the school identifies the specific needs for educators and staff based on the academic calendar and student enrollment. The announcement is made through various channels such as online job portals, social media, and the school's website.

The selection process involves several steps, including the initial screening of applications, written tests, teaching demonstrations, and interviews. The school emphasizes the importance of both academic qualifications and alignment with the school's Islamic values and culture. Successful candidates undergo an orientation program that introduces them to the school's policies, expectations, and community.

Challenges in the recruitment process include attracting qualified candidates, competition with other schools, and ensuring the cultural fit of new hires. Efforts to address these challenges include enhancing the school's branding and reputation, offering competitive benefits, and implementing a thorough induction program to integrate new staff effectively
