UPAYA GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MATA PELAJARAN FIQIH KELAS IX DI SMP IT AL MADINAH KARTASURA SUKOHARJO JAWA TENGAH TAHUN AJARAN 2023/2024
Abstract
Teachers play an important role in increasing students' learning motivation so that they have high learning motivation. High learning motivation greatly influences learning outcomes so that it can produce maximum learning achievement. Obstacles in increasing student learning motivation are monotonous subject teachers, lack of mastery of student-centered active learning strategies, lack of facilities in the form of textbooks, so learning motivation is low. The aims of this research are (1) To determine teachers' efforts to increase students' learning motivation in Fiqh subjects at SMP IT Al Madinah Kartasura. (2) To find out what obstacles teachers face in increasing motivation to learn Fiqh subjects at SMP IT Al Madinah Kartasura. (3) To find out what factors influence students' learning motivation in Fiqh subjects at SMP IT Al Madinah Kartasura.
This research uses qualitative analysis research. Activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and take place continuously at each stage of the research until completion. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and source triangulation methods.
Based on the results of research carried out at SMP IT Al Madinah Kartasura, it can be concluded as follows: 1) Using a personal approach. So that students feel cared for and teachers are able to understand the character of each student, and are given direction, advice, motivation and support, so that students are willing to make changes for the better so that their learning motivation increases. 2) The lack of facilities to support students' learning process, and the lack of mastery of learning strategies are the obstacles faced. 3) Media factors and environmental influences have an influence on students' learning motivation at SMP IT Al Madinah Kartasura so that they abandon their learning obligations as students and their learning motivation decreases.
