IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN MINAT, SIKAP DAN PERILAKU POSITIF SISWA DI SD NEGERI SUMANDA TANGGAMUS TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

Abstract

Character education program is one of the efforts to develop students' interest, attitudes, and positive behaviors. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of character education management in developing students' interest, attitudes, and positive behaviors in the Wustha Fathkul Ulum Equality Program in Srimulyo Village, Madang Suku II District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency in the academic year 2022/2023. The research method used was descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education management can improve students' interest, attitudes, and positive behaviors. Factors that influence the success of character education programs include the support of the school principal, teacher commitment, parental participation, appropriate selection of methods and media, and regular program evaluation. Character education programs also need to be integrated with existing curriculum and learning. It is expected that the results of this study can contribute to the development of character education programs in schools.
