Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the situasional leadership style of the principal of MIS Darul Ulum Palangka Raya city. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach where researchers directly examine the field. Data sources in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. By using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation which was carried out at the MIS Darul Ulum Kota Palangka Raya. As for the information in this research, there were four people, namely: the head of the madrasah, the deputy head of the curriculum, the teacher of the field of study and the school caretaker. To analyse the data using an interactive analysis model, namely: data reduction, data presentation to draw conclusions and data verification. To check the validity of the data using triangulation technigues, member checks, long termobservation, peer examination, participatory of collaborative modes of research, researcher’s biases, negative case analysis, thick description, auditing. The results of this study reveal three findings, namely: 1. The success of an organization cannot be separated from various supporting factors. Situational leadership style can affect the performance of teachers and employees. 2.the leadership style by peddling is a leadership behaviort that is very identical to that of the head of MIS Darul Ulum Kota Palangka Raya, where with behavior that is identical to this situational leadership style the head of MIS Darul Ulum Kota Palangka Raya can easily influence his subordinates to align the goals to be achieved achieved.
