This research aims to reveal the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing the morals of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al Hikmah Purwodadi. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The respondents in this research were Islamic Religious Education teachers, school principals, and several students at MI Al Hikmah Purwodadi. The research results show that Islamic Religious Education teachers have a significant role in developing students' morals. They act as facilitators in guiding students to internalize moral values in everyday life. Teachers also act as role models who provide inspiration for students in instilling moral values. Apart from that, Islamic Religious Education teachers are also responsible for compiling learning programs that integrate moral values in the curriculum. However, this research also found several obstacles in implementing the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing students' morals. Some of these are students' lack of understanding of the moral values taught, limited time to carry out moral development activities at school, and minimal support from parents in supporting moral development at home. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Islamic Religious Education teachers continue to improve their competence and skills in guiding students to develop morality. Apart from that, there needs to be cooperation between schools and parents in integrating moral development at school and at home. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of an Islamic Religious Education curriculum that is more effective in developing students' morals.
