Implementasi Penanaman Karakter Al Shuffah Melalui Metode Pembiasaan Santri Di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Alqur'an Al Fatah Pekalongan

This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of cultivating the Al Shuffah character through the habituation method for students at the Tahfidz Alqur'an Al Fatah Pekalongan Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study as the design. Data collection techniques include participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The main respondents of this research are the caregivers and students of the Al Fatah Islamic Boarding School who have experienced the process of getting used to the Al Shuffah character. Data is analyzed through reduction, display and verification stages. The research findings show that the implementation of Al Shuffah character cultivation through the habituation method at the Al Fatah Islamic Boarding School has had a positive impact in shaping the students' personalities. The habituation process is carried out through various religious and academic activities with an emphasis on Al Shuffah values such as simplicity, togetherness and solidarity. Santri are actively involved in character building activities both inside and outside the classroom, such as mutual cooperation activities, helping each other, and sharing knowledge. Apart from that, caregivers also provide role models and provide direct guidance to students. However, challenges in implementation were also identified, including limited resources and support, as well as internal and external barriers. This research contributes to understanding the importance of habituation methods in cultivating character in Islamic boarding schools and provides input for the development of character development programs in similar institutions.
