This research aims to explore the role of teachers in implementing the hidden curriculum towards achieving the objectives of Islamic religious education at SMAN 1 Martapura. Hidden curriculum is an aspect of education that is not directly taught in the formal curriculum, but indirectly influences the formation of students' attitudes, values and behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to gain an in-depth understanding of how teachers implement the hidden curriculum in teaching Islam and its impact on achieving the goals of religious education. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Islamic teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of documents related to the curriculum and learning materials. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques to identify themes and patterns that emerged from the data. The findings of this research reveal that the role of teachers is very significant in implementing the hidden curriculum. Teachers not only convey religious knowledge, but also act as models and guides in forming good Islamic attitudes and values in students. In addition, teachers' teaching practices, such as social interaction in the classroom, selecting relevant learning materials, and using participatory learning methods, also play an important role in shaping students' character and morals. However, there are several challenges in implementing the hidden curriculum, such as limited learning time, lack of resources, and differences in teacher understanding regarding the concept of religious education. Therefore, greater efforts are needed to improve teacher competency, support inclusive curriculum development, and strengthen collaboration between schools, teachers, parents and the community in supporting the achievement of the goals of Islamic religious education at SMAN 1 Martapura. This research contributes to further understanding of the importance of the teacher's role in shaping students' character and morals through the implementation of the hidden curriculum in the context of Islamic religious education.
