MANAJEMEN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN SMP ASY-SYUJA’IYAH PESANTREN DAARUL ULUUM

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Asy-Syuja’iyah Pesantren Daarul Uluum. This research is a qualitative descriptive field research or evaluation of how to implement Sekolah management in an effort to improve the quality of learning the Aqidah Akhlak subject at SMP Asy-Syuja’iyah Pesantren Daarul Uluum. The results of this study are 1) management of curriculum and teaching programs, management of teaching staff, student management, financial management, management of facilities and infrastructure and management of school- community relations. Basically the implementation of Sekolah-based management in these various fields has been going well. 2) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors include: The bureaucracy is still involved in the evaluation process at SMP Asy-Syuja’iyah Pesantren Daarul Uluum, it is proven that there are still joint semester exams and national exams. Even though in KTSP the completeness of the basic competencies has been carried out by the respective subject teachers, the teacher's lack of creativity in choosing learning approaches, models, methods and strategies, the lack of teachers in making learning equipment, and the number of hours of learning that is still lacking when in the learning process will be implemented contextual methods.
