This study investigates the implementation of Cooperative Learning techniques within the context of Islamic Education at the high school level (SMA). The main objective is to explore the impact of Cooperative Learning techniques in fostering group collaboration and creativity, as well as enhancing students' motivation and engagement in learning Islamic Education. The research methodology employed is qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with students and Islamic Education teachers involved in the implementation of Cooperative Learning techniques. The findings indicate that the use of Cooperative Learning significantly enhances collaboration among students, generates creative ideas in understanding and applying Islamic teachings, and boosts students' motivation and engagement in learning. Teachers play a crucial role as facilitators in guiding students, facilitating discussions, and providing constructive feedback. Group-based learning also creates an inclusive learning environment where every student feels accepted and valued. These findings suggest that Cooperative Learning techniques can serve as effective strategies in improving SMA N 1 Terbanggi Besar, offering opportunities for students to develop social skills, critical thinking, and the application of religious values in everyday life.
