Improving the quality of education and parental involvement in the educational process are two important aspects in sustainable educational development. In this context, implementing participatory management principles in schools can be an effective strategy for increasing parental involvement and strengthening relationships between schools and communities. This research aims to investigate the application of participatory management principles in increasing parental involvement in education at SMPN 3 Pekat. Using qualitative and quantitative approaches, this research involves literature study, development of a conceptual framework, data collection through interviews, questionnaires and observations, data analysis, as well as interpretation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the level of parental involvement in education at SMPN 3 Pekat varies, with the majority of parents showing interest in being involved, but facing obstacles such as busy work and lack of information about school activities. Participatory management practices carried out in schools, such as the formation of parent committees, regular meetings between schools and parents, and empowering parents in decision making, have made a positive contribution in increasing parental involvement.
